On January 16th, 2025, the EIGT participated in its very first chess tournament, hosted by the Lycée de Garçons de Luxembourg (LGL) in Limpertsberg.
Three of our talented students: Lourdes Fedato (ACCU), Eshan Adhikrath (ACCU) and Maxence Sidot Riff (S2FR1) rose to the challenge, competing against 98 players.
In the U15 non-ranked category, their achievements were remarkable:
- Eshan: 16th place
- Maxence: 27th place
- Lourdes: 28th place
Additionally, Lourdes made a strong impression on the female rankings, finishing in 9th place.
Congratulations to Eshan, Maxence, and Lourdes for their fantastic performance and for representing EIGT with such skill and spirit.
