As part of their integrated science course, S3EN2 students took part in a project on ecosystems, in partnership with Minett Unesco Biosphere and Youth for Planet.

A group of students produced a video on pipistrelles, a species of bat found on the Minett Unesco Biosphere site in the south of the country.

Another group of students produced a radio podcast interview with Mr Jan Herr, the biologist responsible for the Minett Unesco Biosphere site in Niederkorn. The interview focused on the woodlark, its habitat and its protection.

Finally, two other groups produced posters, one on pipistrelles and the other on certain orchids that grow in the south of the country.
