On Monday, 28 April, the European School of Luxembourg II (Mamer) hosted the E-FESOL Forum (Ecological Forum of European Schools of Luxembourg), inviting Type 1 and Type 2 European Schools to participate. A group of seven eco-delegates from our school attended with enthusiasm, joining pupils from four other schools.

The morning sessions focused on presentations of citizen-led projects and sustainability initiatives, offering a snapshot of what is being done in each school to promote sustainable development. In the afternoon, the 50 pupils and their accompanying teachers took part in a series of workshops exploring key themes related to today’s environmental challenges.

This event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with peers and draw inspiration for future initiatives. Our seven ambassadors will soon meet with all eco-delegates at EIGT to share their experience and help shape a new strategy for action moving forward.
