Between 17-21 October 2025, a delegation from EIGT, comprising the Director, Mrs Jessy Medinger, the Secondary Coordinator, Mrs Brigitte Collard, and the Coordinator of Europe-related projects, Mr Efthymios Sipetzis, participated in the International Conference on Education, organized by Athens College in Athens, Greece.
During the conference, current trends and the great challenges of the 21st century in education were discussed. Mrs Medinger was invited to participate in a panel discussion on the topic of “Educating World Citizens” and delivered an inspirational talk on best practices towards fostering active Global Citizenship and the example of Luxembourg and EIGT.
The delegation of EIGT represented the school in various meetings and exchanged with officials in Greece. In this context, all parties involved confirmed and strengthened the collaboration between EIGT and Athens College, among other educational foundations, and expressed their mutual willingness to continue cooperating on current as well as future projects.
Finally, the delegation of EIGT had the opportunity to participate in working visits and activities and to explore further opportunities for collaboration with major educational institutions abroad.
