On 18 March, our students proudly represented EIGT in three LASEL competitions: basketball, volleyball, and fencing. With determination, teamwork, and school spirit on full display, they gave their best and made us proud!
🏀 Basketball
Our talented 3x3 girls' team - Aylee, Anissa Nana, Ketsiah, and Emma - put in an outstanding performance. They stormed through the group stage undefeated and qualified as group leaders. Despite strong competition and growing fatigue in the later rounds, the team showed great skill, resilience, and sportsmanship. Although they narrowly missed out on the finals, their achievement was truly impressive.
🏐 Volleyball
Six students represented EIGT in the volleyball tournament and fought hard throughout the competition. While their journey ended in the Round of 16, they showed great commitment and enthusiasm from start to finish.
🤺 Fencing
The biggest success of the day came in fencing, where Henry and Rana delivered an exceptional performance. Their experience and dedication paid off as they secured 1st place, bringing home a fantastic victory for EIGT!
A huge thank you to the sports teachers who accompanied and supported the students and to the management team for making these opportunities possible. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for representing EIGT with passion, determination, and excellent sportsmanship.
