Following the success of the online visit with the S5 students, a delegation from EIGT had the opportunity to visit the European Court of Justice in person. The visit lasted for a full working day and took place on Wednesday, 26/11/2025.
EIGT’s participants had the opportunity to attend and participate in the following:
• A preliminary hearing of a case law before the General Court, preceded by a briefing on the case concerned.• A general presentation of the Court of Justice and the General Court.
• Presentation of the multilingualism in the Court of Justice, with a focus on the sectors of translation and interpretation.
• Guided tour of the premises.
The visit was a positive experience and EIGT’s participants left with an invitation to visit again the Court of Justice of the European Union in the future.
