On Friday, February 7, 2025, the Primary school came alive with the sounds of different languages as we celebrated International Mother Language Day. The event, organised by Ms. Vincenza Margarita, Mr. Christophe Courtier and Mr. Nelson Azevedo, was a wonderful opportunity for students to embrace their linguistic and cultural heritage.

Throughout the day, students participated in various activities led by their language teachers, exploring writing, mathematics, music, storytelling, traditional games, and crafts in their mother tongues. Parents also contributed by sharing stories and traditions, creating a truly enriching experience.

The joy and enthusiasm were contagious as they sang songs, presented artistic pieces, and showcased the beauty of their diverse backgrounds. The event was a huge success, with students expressing how much they enjoyed discovering more about their own languages while learning from others.

We thank everyone who contributed to making this day so special. It was a beautiful reminder that languages connect us, and diversity makes us stronger!
