On Wednesday 23rd April, the primary students celebrated world book day. The students came to school dressed up as their favourite characters and brought their favourite books to share with the class.
In collaboration with the other classes as a school we collectively wrote 4 stories, one class made the characters, then next the setting and introduction, it was then passed on to other classes to write the problem, solution, and conclusion.
Classes also took part in activities such as shared reading, researching authors lives and inspirations, writing short stories and acting out different book scenes.
It was a great day to share and foster a love of reading!
