On 9 March 2026, EIGT hosted on its premises in Merl a mock simulation conference session (MEC/MEP/MUN) with the participation of representatives from EIGT, the European School Luxembourg I and the European School Luxembourg II.
The initiative aimed to bring together students and teachers of the three schools in preparation of their respective participations to simulation conferences in Luxembourg and abroad. The delegations from the aforementioned educational institutions got together and debated on current topics of European and international interest. In this context, students had the opportunity to exercise their critical thinking skills, to obtain a deeper understanding of politics and of the workings of the European and international institutions in general, and to prepare better in view of their participation in international MEC/MEP/MUN conferences.
The mock simulation conference was a memorable experience for all participants, who renewed their appointment for next year.
