During the week of March 23rd to 27th, the Primary School in Cessange had the opportunity to take part in workshops led by Planning Familial.
Depending on the class level, different sessions were organised to raise awareness about consent, emotions, and understanding the body, particularly during puberty.
In P2, P3 and P4, the facilitators discussed topics such as understanding emotions, respecting personal boundaries, and identifying private parts of the body. Pupils also learned who they can turn to if their boundaries are not respected.
In P5, pupils explored in more detail the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty. They also learned about topics such as menstruation and sperm production, and had the opportunity to ask questions.
Overall, it was a valuable and educational week that helped children better understand their bodies, their feelings, and how to respond in different situations.
