On Thursday, 12 March 2026, the classes S5EN1 and S5EN2 took part in the “Researchers at School” event, during which two researchers, Dr. Anupam Sengupta and Dr. Emmanuel Defay, visited the school to present their work and share their professional experiences.
The guests spoke about their current research projects and described what it means to be a group leader, giving students a better understanding of what a career in research involves and the challenges that are part of the profession.
The students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the researchers. They were particularly interested in learning about the academic studies and skills required to pursue a career in science.
The event offered students valuable insight into the field of scientific research in Luxembourg and encouraged them to reflect on possible future study and career opportunities.
