On Monday, March 16, four courageous students traveled to Kirchberg to take part in the European Schools of Luxembourg public speaking competition, the “Speech Olympics”.
Having prepared for this challenge during ACTPA eloquence sessions, Sophia, Zoé, Mikhail, and Frédéric each delivered a five-minute speech in their second language in front of an audience of several hundred people.
Despite the encouragement of the attending teachers—Ms. Mohy, Ms. Crena, Mr. Plantier - as well as members of the school leadership team (Ms. Medinger and Ms. Collard), our speakers did not manage to reach the podium in this competition. They can nevertheless be extremely proud of their journey and the quality of their performance!
