On 7 February 2025, EIGT’s prospective Radio hosts, that is the student-members of EIGT Radio Club, visited the RTL Studios in Kirchberg. During their visit they had the opportunity to meet Mr Sam Steen (Head of Programming at RTL Today Radio), discuss with him on air and have a guided tour of the premises and the studios. Together with Mr Steene, EIGT’s Radio students also had the opportunity to take an interview from Ms Meredith Moss (Producer) and Ms Sasha Kehoe (Newsreader).
The students were accompanied by Mr. Efthymios Sipetzis and Ms. Sinéad O’Donovan, teachers in charge of the Radio Project in our school.
The entire visit proved to be an amazing experience for our students who left RTL Studios even more motivated to engage with EIGT’s digital radio in the future.
