What is Europe? How could Europe be described through people’s voices?

In celebration of Europe Day 2026, students from EIGT’s Europe Club gave the microphone to members of our school community in the context of a project entitled “Voices of Europe”/”Paroles d’Europe”.

On the agenda: short, dynamic interviews designed as lively and spontaneous exchanges about Europe, the EU and what it represents today. From our Principal to members of the teaching staff, everyone has been invited to share their perspective, their experience, and sometimes even a personal anecdote. When put together, these contributions give a representative picture of a living and diverse Europe.

The project has also been an opportunity for students to engage in different ways, including preparing, interviewing, listening, and presenting. As such, they made their voices heard in a truly European context.

Many thanks to Jessy Medinger, Brigitte Collard, Patrice Schmitt, Jorge Dos Santos Cortesia, Elisabete Dias Silva, Elodie Gombert, Maximilien Plantier, Gilberto Castorini and Mélanie Schambert, who kindly — and with a truly European sense of cooperation — agreed to take part.

Stay tuned for the recorded clips, which will be shared here and within the school community shortly.
