The P3 Italian students, team "Le Muse", were selected among the winners and earning recognition for their original myth celebrating Europe, its diverse languages, beautiful landscapes and shared values of friendships and solidarity. These young authors transformed their ideas into vivid stories, and they brought their characters to life... Viva l'Europa e viva l'EIGT"!
P3FR1 students studied Maurice Carême's poem ''Ce qui est comique'' (What is funny) by looking at the rhymes. Then, the children created their own little poems, replacing the title with ''Ce qui est amusant'' (What is amusing) and ''Ce qui est rigolo'' (What is funny). They looked for as many rhymes as possible around these two expressions. The two final poems bring together the phrases invented by the whole class.
The project led by the P2FR1 pupils caught the attention of the Writing Fest. The pupils corresponded throughout the year with P1-P2 pupils from the European School in Frankfurt. They sent each other letters of introduction and greeting cards and worked in parallel on the theme of fairy tales. The two classes also collaborated to create illustrations representing the fairy tales they read and studied in class. This work was selected to be featured on the back cover of the Writing Fest booklet.
