The École internationale Gaston Thorn (EIGT) debuted the game-based learning school project, Levelling Up Learning: Game-based learning to enhance the development of the 8 key competences for life long learning, in September 2023.
After a promising year in its preparatory phase, the three-year project will resume in September 2024. This initiative supports the goal of "Individualising Educational Support" in the school development plan by offering students and teachers innovative and creative teaching methods throughout the school day. The project emphasises the eight key competences for lifelong learning endorsed by the European Commission, which will be developed and enriched through the use of engaging games.
The project is funded by the Centre de Coordination des Projets d'établissement.
