As of June 5, the École Internationale Gaston Thorn proudly holds the title of European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS).

The event marking this achievement was attended by distinguished guests, including

  • Mr Marc Angel, Vice-President of the European Parliament
  • Ms Anne Calteaux, Representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg
  • Mr Christoph Schroeder, Head of the European Parliament Liaison Office in Luxembourg
  • Ms Caroll Lemarié, Head of the Delegation for International and European Schooling in Luxembourg;

and our director, Ms Jessy Medinger.

Students from various school groups, including the Europe Club, Radio Club, and student committee delegates, actively participated in the day’s events. They engaged in a lively panel discussion with Mr Marc Angel and had the unique chance to interview him, Ms Lemarié, and Mr Schroeder for EIGT Radio. The event also featured the opening of the "EU4YOU(TH)" exhibition at EIGT, part of the European program aimed at youth engagement.
